What is the Lots Proportion feature?
The Lots Proportion subscription strategy in our Social Trading platform allows Autocopiers to proportionally scale their trade sizes based on their current Balance or Equity.
How does Lots Proportion Strategy work?
Lots Proportion ensures that the copied trade volume is proportionate to the leader's current trading volume. This strategy is recommended for Autocopiers, who prefer to align their copied trades aligned with their Balance or Equity.

Calculation Formula: Trade volume calculation depends on Autocopiers' current Balance/Equity as follow:
Trade Volume = Volume per step x int(Compared Value Autocopier's (Autocopiers' account Balance or Equity) /Lots step)
Example 1:
Leader's Trade Size: 1 lot
Position: Buy Side
Autocopier's Balance/Equity: $2,000
Volume per step: 0.1
Lots step: 1000
Copy Direction: Direct
Autocopier's Trade Size = 0.1 x ($2,000 / 1000) = 0.2 lots
Position: Buy Side
Therefore, the Autocopiers would open a trade of 0.2 lots. Since the copy direction is "Direct" this means that if the Leader's trade size is 1 lot on Buy Side, the Autocopier will also open a trade on Buy Side with trade volume of 0.2 lots based on the proportional calculation.
Example 2:
Leader's Trade Size: 1 lot
Position: Sell Side
Leader's Trade Size: 1 lot
Autocopier's Balance/Equity: $3,000
Volume per step: 0.5
Lots step: 500
Copy Direction: Reverse
Autocopier's Trade Size = 0.5 x ($3,000 / 500) = 3 lots
Position: Buy Side
Therefore, the Autocopiers would open a trade of 3 lots. Since the copy direction is "Reverse," this means that if the leader's trade size is 1 lot on Sell Side, the Autocopier will open a trade on Buy Side with trade volume of 3 lots based on the proportional calculation.
